Communion Statement
At all weekend services, we celebrate the Sacrament of the Altar with the confidence that we receive into our mouths not only bread and wine, but our Lord's very body and blood to eat and drink for the forgiveness of our sins and to strengthen our union with Him and with one another. Our Lord invites to His table those who trust His words, repent of all sin, forgive others their trespasses as we are forgiven and loved by Christ.
Because those who eat and drink our Lord's body and blood unworthily do so to their great harm and because Holy Communion is a confession of the faith which is confessed at the altar, anyone who is not presently an active member of a congregation of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and yet desires to receive the sacrament, is asked to speak with the Pastor beforehand. If such a meeting before the service is not possible, out of love and spiritual concern, we ask respectfully that you refrain from taking Holy Communion with us until you can meet with our Pastor. Thank you for honoring our beliefs.
